The Government of Canada is taking important steps to protect and recover the Southern Resident Killer Whale (SRKW) population. The SRKW is a vital component of the local marine ecosystem and has cultural significance for Indigenous peoples and coastal communities in British Columbia. The Government of Canada recognizes that SRKW faces imminent threats to their survival and recovery and that immediate action is required. Albion Marine Solutions team conducted a survey and 3D scanning of a 10K container in the US for a scrubber retrofit project. Due to the complex of the vessel schedule, the team had to finish the work during two short port stays. Albion Marine is currently working on scrubber retrofit projects for the container vessel fleet and has successfully carried out survey and scanning for four vessels during the last month in the US and Asia
