Albion Marine Solutions is a multinational corporation with headquarters in Canada. We provide project management, engineering, consultancy, and conversion services to maritime and offshore industries. In order to expand our range of products and services, we are looking for a Marine Product Manager, Decarbonization Solutions, including carbon capture, scrubbers, energy efficiency devices, and alternative fuels. The Product Manager will report to the Director.
Location: Shanghai, China
Requirements:
- Degree in product development, marine mechanical or electrical engineering or equivalent.
- 5+ years’ experience in dynamic product management for marine or offshore industries.
- Strong commercial acumen.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Knowledge of Classification society rules, codes and standards, and international marine rules and regulations.
- Ability to lead complex projects and work with clients.
- Proven success in overseeing all elements of the product development lifecycle.
Major Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Manage the product throughout the Product Lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements.
- Define the product vision and work closely with stakeholders to deliver winning products.
- Work closely with the technical team, clients and business development team to develop and implement decarbonization solutions, including carbon capture technologies, scrubbers, methanol, ammonia and other alternative fuel supply systems.
- Perform thorough market research, develop and implement a strategic plan for marine decarbonization solutions.
- Lead ongoing development of a strategy and innovation roadmap for the commercialization of decarbonization solutions.
- Drive the execution of all processes in the product lifecycle, including product and market research, competitor analysis, planning, positioning, requirements and roadmap development, and product launch.
