Albion Marine cares for the planet. To reduce the environmental impact and carbon footprint we have developed an aluminum Oil Recovery Barge. Our team has developed a non-powered aluminum barges of varied sizes for increased storage capacity of recovered oil in calm waters that would be deployed in response to a marine pollution incident. All constructions and equipment complies with the Canadian Coast Guard Agency Standards and other regulations

Albion Marine attended a vessel in Turkey. It was a short notice project but our team was ready to work on the design of ballast water treatment system. Our project management team had a challenging but interesting work under pressure.

 

ABS remote survey and audit services now available to equipment manufacturers worldwide

ABS is making its remote survey and audit services available to equipment and materials manufacturing clients all over he globe, in the tastes significant expansion of its remote capability. Last month, ABS responded to challenges faced by the industry in the pandemic by extending remote survey and audit services to existing equipment manufacturing and external specialist clients enrolled in ABS programs in USA, South America and Europe. Sustainability for the maritime sector

The International Maritime Organization (IMO) has set ambitious targets for the shipping industry. In addition to the 2020 Global Sulphur Cap, shipowners and operators must consider the greenhouse gas targets for 2030 and even more ambitious emissions goals for 2050.
